G'day chaps,
Some of you guys may remember me. I was with Mail Call and Allied most recently (2 years ago) but started my journey into couriering with Crisis way back in 1992. I left to open a baby shop with my wife which, unfortunately, is set to close.
I also worked at the Shakespeare Hotel. Remember me now! Baden and Smokin' Joe might, they used to pop in for a steak and a beer from time to time. The last time they came in was around the World's and Baden accused me of pinching his beer! He was very drunk and it was very late so let's not dwell on that.
Anyway, I thought I'd drop you guys a line to say hi and let you know that I'm opening a small bike and sports shop in Redfern (opp the Bar Cleveland on Bourke Street) in early May. Mostly clothes but some accessories, basic servicing and reconditioned bikes too. It would be great if anyone wants to reply or pop in and offer suggestions on what's hot and what's not. I'm certainly not trying to take on institutions such as 'Cheaky Monkey' or 'CBD', just offer an alternative or a place to hang-out on those excursions to the burbs I know you all love so much!
Congratulations to SYDBMA for giving a voice to the often much maligned Bicycle Messenger community. It's fantastic to see just how much you've achieved in such a relatively short time and from such humble beginnings.
Keep up the good work and long may you prosper!

Great to see some old and new faces
Hey boy's and girl's.
Thanks to Daniel, Jeb, Baden, Chris and Joe for popping in to say hi and to all who've offered support and encouragement. Knight Rider is up and running and all looks good...I hope.
To the upper hierarchy of SYDBMA, if you guy's need a race check-point in the burbs I'm open all day Sat and 'til 1pm (later if need be) on Sun. If you want to advertise up and coming event's and/or you'd like to showcase merchandise for members and the greater populous than drop us a line and I'll be happy to help in any way I can.
Sorry, I can't resist letting you know that in-store is a Single Speed (44/19) GT OUTPOST. It's black and beautiful with plenty of seat post for even the tallest rider. I took it out yesterday and this is one sweet ride. I'd love to see it go to a good home so if anyone is interested swing by.
Anyone who rides a maxi should get in touch with me 'cause I have a bit of weekend work for them at a world record attempt at the biggest pizza delivering the final result around Balmain. Contact me at Knight Rider - 9699 4796.
Cheers!
Adrian

Hey Paddy and Jo, great to hear from you.
Thanks for the endoresment, from you it's worth more than gold! Hope all goes well for you both and 'old blighty' finds you happy and healthy.
Are you teaching over there? Don't give away too many secrets to the youth of England. We want to keep the Pohm's a few limbs below us on the interlectual tree where they belong - sorry Jo. I hope Rachel doesn't read this!
Hugs, kisses and best wishes from the Knight Rider quartet. Look forward to catching up in Sept.
Cheers!
Adrian
