Flash's bike
I suppose most of you have seen/heard what happened to Flash on Friday.
For those who haven't, a cab did a U turn in front of a bus outside 2 Chifley.
The resulting impact sent the cab over the footpath and into the wall of Chifley tower next to the cabstand shelter. Unfortunately .jpg)
Flash's bike was locked to the pole next to the shelter and, infact half of it remained locked to the pole and under the taxi. The other half, well see for yourself.....

Bye bye Berretto
Hi, hope you won't find this an invasion of your space - I'm not a courier, just an avid cyclist.
I met flash a few months ago and actually took some pics of his bike for a blog I write. Bumped into him on Friday and he told me the sad story of why he wasn't riding the Berretto anymore.
I posted a story about it tonight, plus there's a story on the blog from when I originally met Flash if any of you are interested.

Thank god the taxi was fucked too. The driver ended up in Hospital, but we think that was a ploy just to get away from the scene. Maybe he'll get deported.

RIP and thank god you werent unlocking your bike.
I guess you can immortalise the rear triangle by taking off the cranks, bottom bracket and rear wheel then use it as a work stool.
